TINY TOTS

· Pink, blue, or black solid color bodysuit

· Pink tights

· Matching color skirt

· Pink leather ballet slippers

 

BALLET (GRADE 2 AND UP)

· Navy or black bodysuit

· Pink microfibre tights

· Pink ballet slippers

· Character shoes (black canvas)

· Character skirt (exam students only)

 

TAP/JAZZ        

· Solid color bodysuit

· Black jazz pants

· Beige or black shimmer tights

· TAP—black tap shoes (must have elastics not ribbons)

· JAZZ—beige or black oxfords (younger classes may use ballet shoes)

*Clothing must not be baggy so that it does not hide the dancer’s body

 

HIP HOP

· Runners (NOT outdoor, must be clean)

· Jazz pants

· Bodysuit

                

Dance Attire

2011 Shoes, Hair and Tights

Makeup 2011

Students are expected to wear proper dance attire to all of their dance classes. This includes proper dress (please see below) and hair tied securely away from their face (bun). Students should not wear any jewelry. It is important to dress properly for every class in order for the teacher to properly assess posture and technique. The following provides the basic attire for each type of class.
